Midnight Hare Large Bowl 1
A large, stoneware bowl, thrown on the wheel. The intricate interior decoration of these bowls takes hours and uses different techniques: sgraffito (applying a coloured slip and then scratching out the design), hand-made stencils and masks (the hares, the stars and part of the design on the interior base of the bowl) and hand-painting (elements of the hares and the foliage.) There are also hares running around the exterior of this bowl, above a decorative band featuring leaf shapes.
This is a large, sturdy serving bowl and is ideal for an arrangement of fruit, or an inviting salad etc. When not in use, it will happily function as a decorative item.
