These unique wheel-thrown, hand-decorated mugs have a pleasing shape, getting wider towards the base. Unusually, the bottom is glazed (allowing the design to flow over the whole mug) and fitted with three little ‘feet’ which enable them to be used without mats. This mug’s flower design is scratched into the blue slip (liquid clay, coloured with cobalt oxide) before firing, using a technique called sgraffito.
Dishwasher and microwave safe.
