The crisp white spots on this mug stand out against a blue background which has been kissed with random subtle shades from the kiln’s fiery embrace. Matching in size with the Garland and Striped standard size mugs, this one also has three little feet which not only protect the table surface from heat but also enables the design to flow over the base of the mug too, so it has a pretty bottom. Made on a wheel and hand-decorated, each mug has its own charm and character and while collectively harmonising, they are a far cry from factory production-line uniformity.
